Shutdown Day 21: Federal Employees Get $0.00 Pay Stubs, Miami Airport to Close Terminal Due to TSA Sickouts
As of midnight Friday, the partial shutdown of the Federal government will have completed its third full week. And its impact, already widespread, is beginning to be felt by even more people.
Federal workers including air traffic controllers are receiving their first pay stubs since the shutdown began. They are showing: $0.00.
And so, some Federal employees have resorted to hocking their belongings on Craigslist in an effort to scrape together a few dollars to stay afloat as the shutdown persists.
